Over the decades, the Department of Medicine has been led by visionary chairpersons who strengthened its role in advancing medical care and education. The department’s Internal Medicine Residency Program, launched in 1976 and accredited by the Philippine College of Physicians, has produced top graduates who excel locally and internationally.
